Frozen Juanita’s – Whiskey Slush

Ingredients

  • 12 oz frozen limeade (1 can)
  • 6 oz frozen orange juice
  • 3 – 12 oz cans full of water
  • 1 – 12 oz can full of whiskey
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • Lime for garnish

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to a pitcher or other container that can be frozen. Stir until the sugar is dissolved and put in the freezer for 24 hours.
  • Stir after about 10-12 hours. By this time the mixture will be beginning to get slushy but some of the alcohol with sink to the bottom so stirring it will help redistribute it throughout.
  • After 24 hours scoop out using an ice-cream scooper into your favorite glass and garnish with a lime wheel, if desired.
