Blood Orange Margarita
Pair this margarita with your favorite Mexican dishes like tacos, enchiladas, or guacamole to create a festive spread your guests won’t forget!
For One Cocktail:
- 2 oz Tequila Patron Silver is a fantastic choice!
- 1 oz Triple Sec
- 2 oz Freshly Squeezed Blood Orange Juice
- 1 Tbsp Freshly Squeezed Lime Juice
- 1 Tbsp Agave Nectar
For the Rim:
- Zest of 1 Lime
- Zest of 1 Blood Orange
- 3 Tbsp Sugar
Prep Your Glass:
Zest one lime and one blood orange and combine the zest and sugar on a small plate or dish.
Slice your blood orange and lime in half, reserving one slice for garnish.
Wet the rim of your glass with a slice of fruit, then rotate the rim in the sugar-zest mixture to coat.
Fill your glass with ice and set aside.
Make the Cocktail:
Juice your blood orange and lime.
Combine tequila, Triple Sec, blood orange juice, lime juice, and agave nectar in a cocktail shaker.
